Finished in sage green for FW26, the jacket brings the graphic world of No Problemo’s Mount Kailash collection to one of Alpha’s most structured military silhouettes. The CWU-45 was first issued to Air Force and Navy pilots in 1972, and its build is very different from the MA-1 the brands reworked last time. A fold-down collar replaces the bomber’s ribbed neck, the pockets sit higher on the body and the overall cut is more structured. The collaboration keeps all three features, using them as the base for No Problemo’s graphic treatment instead of redesigning the jacket. Most of the change happens on the back panel, where hand-drawn figures, symbols and abstract shapes spread across the full width of the jacket. The artwork comes from Mount Kailash, No Problemo’s FW26 collection, which draws on the myths, geometric patterns and charged atmosphere associated with the 6,666-meter Tibetan peak. Against the muted sage base, the line work reads like a coded map more than a typical back print. The branding is more restrained elsewhere on the jacket. No Problemo’s logo runs down one sleeve in a tonal finish that blends into the base color, while a co-branded patch on the chest marks the collaboration. Alpha Industries’ signature red Remove Before Flight tag completes the jacket and adds the only bright color to an otherwise subdued palette. The Alpha Industries x No Problemo CWU-45 will be available online, via the Alpha Industries store in Frankfurt, Aries, Aries Soho in London and select retailers.
