Barbour and Paraboot reunite seven years after their first collaboration with a Bedale jacket and a Chambord derby Each piece borrows a signature material from its partner, putting olive waxed canvas on the shoe and Paraboot leather on the jacket A co-branded medallion, leather tassel and Barbour tartan lining connect the two designs Barbour and Paraboot have teamed up again for Fall/Winter 2026, pairing a reworked Bedale jacket with a Chambord derby that each take on materials from the other house. The two-piece capsule is the brands’ second collaboration, arriving seven years after their first, and it focuses on construction and craft rather than a broad product lineup. The capsule rests on a straightforward exchange of materials, with each piece lending a signature fabric to the other so the jacket and shoes read as a matched set. The British waxed canvas goes onto the French footwear, and the French leather moves onto the British outerwear, so neither design is just a logo swap. Paraboot’s piece starts from the Chambord, a flat-top derby the house first made for city wear in Paris over 40 years ago. Its core construction stays the same, with five eyelets, a full leather lining, a Norwegian welt finished with a square-edged welt, and a rubber sole. The upper changes, mixing brown “gringo” nubuck with olive waxed canvas taken directly from Barbour’s jacket language. The finishing details make the shoe clearly a collaboration. A co-branded medallion and a leather tassel, both made specifically for this release, hang from the laces, and Barbour’s classic tartan lines the interior. Every pair comes in a Paraboot box with a matching co-branded tartan dust bag inside. Barbour’s half reworks the Bedale in Oban waxed canvas, given a brushed finish meant to build character over time. The jacket keeps its usual roomy cut, low gusseted pockets and corduroy collar, while Paraboot leather forms the chest pocket and both brand names are embroidered on the lower pockets. The same medallion and tassel from the derby appear on the jacket, and the tartan shows under the collar and across the lining. That tartan is what ties the capsule together, running through the collar, the jacket lining, the inside of the shoe and its dust bag. As a result, the Bedale and the Chambord work as a coordinated pair when worn together, while each still holds up as a standalone piece. The Barbour x Paraboot collection is available now via Paraboot’s website and Barbour’s webstore, and at select Paraboot stores in Paris (Rivoli and Saint-Honoré), Versailles, Lille and Tours.
